Tonight I wasn’t nauseous or extremely tired so I could draw again. At first I got frustrated but it ended out looking okayish so I feel better.

I did try some digital art today, but did so embarrassingly poorly I have nothing to show for it. Back to traditional tomorrow.

It is really frustrating. I can’t understand such a simple beginner concept, and whenever I try to visualize it in my mind I can’t. I might just not be cut out for this. Have to keep trying to be sure.

It is still so hard to understand… the three dimensional shape. I need to keep practicing.

I didn’t have any ideas today but I figured something is better than nothing, so I aimlessly doodled a bit. I saw one tip that involves tracing an artist you like’s work to get a feel for the style, so maybe I’ll do that tomorrow.

I decided to try using the tutorial from yesterday to draw Sara. I really like how she came out. I listened to the Tokyo Ghoul soundtrack and some Will Stetson covers too.

Today I decided to just look at some tutorial videos and copy those, since that should help. It’s hard to visualize anything in my head when I want to. Class is in five hours.

I drew again today and I am much prouder of it than yesterday. Didn’t do well on that left one but I don’t like him much anyway, and it still kind of looks like improvement to me. I will do homework now.

I tried to draw today for the first time in maybe two years. It feels so useless. There’s a ton of 13 year olds that are way better than me and it feels like it’s too late. But if I just keep saying it’s too late and do nothing then eventually I’ll be 70 and it’ll really be too late.
