It’s so funny how you can just see how every vet mentally prepares themselves to give me the “it might be time” speech, shortly before actually meeting her and her perfect bloodwork and going like “surgery it is!”. I’m often worried I won’t know when it’s time, but I do trust the vets with that.

It’s like looking both ways before crossing the road only to be bludgeoned by a falling grand piano. I’ll be honest, I’m not sure about how many more of these curveballs I have left in me. Job, home, stolen bike, scandal because of job, all within a month.
