True but i don’t think i could ever risk adopting another dog from one… especially seeing as 90% of dogs in local ones fall under local banned breeds or will likely get me a call from Animal Control if it looks too much like a Pitt Mix (yeah my area sucks) and the other options are Doodles…

Feel like I should mention that I’m def all for adopting cats though. A cat is a cat in my eyes, sure there’s breeds but with cats it doesn’t really matter for me.

I’m more so adopt or shop responsibly… mainly because I’ve had nothing but trouble with shelter dogs (mainly because I’ve had issues with shelters in my area not disclosing behavioral issues and having been attacked unprovoked by said dogs). But I’m glad that your puppy is a shelter pup.
