Excited to see this book out today with a ‘Methodological Appendix’ (on D&G of course…) by me. Congrats to the editors and authors, and thanks for giving me space to go from a question I know how to answer (can D&G ‘decolonise’ reception?) to one I don’t (what do we do after post-structuralism?). 🥳

It’s Black History Month for us at @reorient.bsky.social too and I’m really excited for this talk tonight, ‘Islam Race and Rebellion in the Americas’ all about the influence of West African anti-colonial/jihadist movements on the enslaved Muslims of the New World at the Iqbal Centre. 🌙
I’m still not totally sure what the point of Bluesky is (by which I probably mean: I still think I see more 🇵🇸 on Twitter) but since it’s mostly academics here maybe you’ll be sympathetic to the absolute state of this manuscript I’m supposed to be editing this morning 🙈
