That second one might seem weird to say, but I've seen comments telling that you don't need to understand JP to know if the VA is good or bad (shrug).

FWIR, in JP she basically said "turtle-head" which yes it's a slang. TBH one-eyed monster is one of the best examples of translating/localizing a joke.

FWIH the other members of the Yo-kai girls (the series of cards that Ash Blossom belongs to) had similar naming quirks.
