I've seen videos of people deliberately stringing off shared bike/walking paths and watching bicyclists hit what is essentially an invisible barrier and be launched off their bikes

Cars literally try to hit you or throw shit at you out the window, they drive and park in the bike lane making the road unsafe for bikes. Where I live biking on the sidewalk is legal and you are assumed to have the same responsibilities as a pedestrian as far as keeping things slow and safe

Upon reflection, honestly the way dwarves are depicted to live is kind of aspirational for how humans want to live. Boisterous, communal, somewhat isolated. No-nonsense, no frills, grounded, realistic
