Oh I took a lot of detours on the way here sadly because I gave up websites for a bit during college (English major ftw) and then I graduated in 2007 into the recession. So I’ve been everything from gas station clerk to middle school teacher. But I like that it’s web I came back to!

Oh goddddd like I needed a hit of nostalgia like this.

But I went from building my first website on Geocities at 14 (a Hanson fan page built in Netscape Communicator) to overseeing a WordPress multisite for a university so this era of the interwebs will always be near and dear to my heart.

I am so pissed that I donated money to that fraud during his campaign.

I'm going to keep organizing in my community. We filled two elementary schools' food and hygiene pantries before break. I'm hoping to also volunteer in the schools in some capacity. I will keep attending Board of Ed meetings too, especially until the homophobic member is finally removed.

This is made up right? Like I know in high school yearbook we would make up quotes all the time for our stories because we were 17. But this is the NYT? This can't be real?

In my tiny world, I might get a promotion this year as part of a reorg, but I also work for a university so if there’s no more department of education…? So I guess the answer is no.
