I met Jean in a field near Givet, a small town in Northern France.

When he was a boy he lost 2 fingers in an machine-related accident when attending agricultural school.

Even though my French isn’t great, we talked about his crops and his late wife that had recently passed.

‘Tales Of Elora’

Patricia in the Grand river

After walking through some foliage, we found a tree with a rope attached. Both of us hike down the slippery rocks and rushing water.

When we got down she walked into
river. The wind swept into the gorge. I was at the right place, at the right time.

Today, I hugged a tree só hard I closed my eyes and saw the sun reflecting off of rippling water. It was kinda spacey. Highly recommended!

‘Tales of Elora’

I met Grayson Near the Gorge in August 2023.

He was carrying a small bible and wearing crocs. He recently quit school and life was on hard for him, he felt directionless.

I assured him everything would fall into place. Even though i’m not religious, I reminded him to have faith.

‘Tales of Elora’

My first day in Elora was rainy and cold. I thought i had ran out of luck. Untill i met Sophia and her mother on Lover’s Leap, the iconic rock formation in the Elora Gorge.

Without any hesitation or notes she posed and it was everything it needed to be. Eternally grateful Sophia!

‘Tales of Elora’

Figured it would be be interesting to share more in depth stories about Elora and my ongoing work ‘My Sweet Elora’

When found this dead American Robin in front if the house i was staying at, he was still warm to the touch. I ended up giving him a proper burial in a cave.
