This planning application for the river that has just been approved was submitted in March 2024 and pre-dates the detailed planning application for the stadium by about 6 months.

Buildings around the stadium still need planning, but everything else is approved, though conditions have to be met.

I think an S106 agreement needs to be finalised, but planning application wise I believe that’s everything needed to start construction on the stadium.

Enabling developments to the west and east of the stadium are in their own application.
