She's also the most resilient of the trio when blimped - they can reform if they pop, sure, but it loses time, and Alto is best suited for more dangerous routes. She also has the highest size limit - while they all have limitless size enchantments, those are magically disabled during competitions.

Alto's the strategy gal. She's the one who studies the route and competitors before a race, making the game plan for the group. She's also in charge of mechanical steering when it's not her turn as the balloon, since wind magic isn't always enough.

The original plan was going to have her join the business because she was broke, but slowly learn to have fun and grow closer to the business owner. I was really excited to write her route, but eh, this works just as well.
