Decades into my life and still experimenting what I want to do with it.
I have been watching a lot of media analysis video essays recently - but it's more along the lines of "Here's a small video game you may not have heard of, here's what it means to me and what I feel about it"
The relentless bad-faith criticism after Silksong's release by 'professionals', I'm done.

It's crowdsourced.
Which does mean it's open to exploitation, but I've only seen one instance of that in the entire year I've been using it.

I have sponsor block installed, and I don't even feel the slightest bit bad about it.
In fact, my opinion on several content creators has increased since I no longer hear their spiels for the shit they are shilling - to the point I have increased my overall patreon support by 3 this year.

Holy shit...
...you're using a sycophantic AI chat bot to research or even write responses that fit your narrative, aren't you?

There's no way you could be this anti-informed without the assistance of a hallucinating plagiarism machine.

20% of all workers being fired in most industries would cause a global depression the likes we have not seen in a century.

Do you not know a damned thing about economics?! Do you know how BIG of a number 20% is in finance?

If it's not a good thing for the business, it's not a business case.

Every company rolling out so-called AI solutions to reduce staff count seems to think they are special somehow, that all the other companies won't be reducing staff so that they get to keep all their current customers.
A 5th grader has better financial understanding than people like you.

"trim $800k in annual payroll"
Firing people. You're talking about firing people. Don't use weasel words to dodge the issue.
Additionally, if every company uses AI to "trim payroll", there will be far, far less customers because too many people are unemployed.

"Prompt engineering" is simply gambling in a suit. You have no idea what will be generated, but gotta keep making prompts (pulling the lever), until you "win" and get a dopamine hit.
Gambler's fallacies kick in and you start looking for patterns in the random numbers.

My wife and I are spending tonight listening to random music like we’ve done for years, only to discover that most of it was ai generated.
It feels… awful, like our time has been stolen that could have been spent listening to real artists.

Once again I am surprised that anyone is surprised.
The western world loathes children and teenagers - what did you think would happen?

Wall-to-wall coverage ever since the tragic event where anything a political actor says will instantly become a story.
Left-wing voices are denounced as anti-Semitic, so there's no counter.
Right-wing Conservative Forces would be idiots to NOT take this opportunity the media has given them

I don't think I've ever gone from "hype" to "will never even think about it ever again" in a faster period of time.
December 17, 2025 at 12:39 AM
This can't even be about money anymore, and I don't think it's even about power over people anymore.

Forcing so-called AI in to everything screams of the desperation of loss aversion. The suits were easily duped into paying for a con and can't dare be seen for the gullible idiots that they are.
