I’ve had too many people months and even years before the ‘24 election admit to me privately that yeah Trump was a POS (but they voted for him anyway), to blame the diehard base.

The term “MAGA” lets the Trump voting normies off the hook. As long as there’s this crazy group more loyal to Trump than them, they’re still cool because at least “I’m not a Trumper”. But you’re either for this shit, or you’re not.

I’ve decided to stop blaming “MAGA” or “Trumpers” or fanatics or whatever. If you voted for him in November and you’re either still good with most of what his administration is doing or silently smug not giving AF (or trying to justify it), then Trump’s shit stink is on you.
