Concept sketch for my Caliph Industries character, "The Sentinel" in their work uniform!

The Sentinel is the main surveillance operative for the Caliph Industries Campus... but there's more to it than that. They *are* becoming Caliph's Super Computer. One upgrade at a time.

In retrospect, I like how quickly this comic moves at the beginning. But, it also didn't give us any time to get to know Takashi before the big manipulation scene. I dunno if I'd change it... but looking back... hrm. 🤔

Writing Hope and Takashi's relationship in this comic was interesting- cause of the nature of the power imbalance and preying on insecurity we've already seen... I had fun with it >:3

One thing I liked from this comic was using the coloured bubbles to help indicate who was speaking or thinking- even when shifting from panel to panel.

You know- I think that these first few pages of Living Large are some of the fastest pacing I've done with a comic- I feel like we've established a lot in just two pages.

And we meet Hope's Husband~! Takashi! He's a big guy +w+
