Drones certainly have their place in combined warfare, but they're not a replacement for a capability we currently have. They are an added capability of front-line forces. We need human controlled aircraft just as much as drones. Neither can replace the other.

I don't understand why anyone would want to destroy agencies. The amount of work that would get passed onto the president would be so overwhelming that he'd have to delegate it out at which point you're just making agencies again. If you didn't, then the federal government is paralysed.

I've heard a lot of similar things about a lot of their equipment.
A nuclear power not looking after their nuclear weapons does make me nervous. It's not Russia launching nukes that make me nervous. It's the rebel groups who could walk in and wheel out a warhead.
