Confused as to how, in my late twenties, I could cause myself such injury, my doctor didn't think that it had dislocated, but sent me to specialist to be safe. The specialist looked me over and said I had indeed had a dislocation.
Now it sometimes threatens to dislocate, & occasionally does.

It could have been worse. The shock sent me, admittedly quite forcefully, away from any real danger. If instead of just touching the wall I had grabbed something, and my hand locked when I was shocked, then I’d probably have been in a bit of trouble.
