Great lineup, I almost completely agree. I’m gradually really warming up to this OT class, wouldn’t be the worse thing to see who’s there in the 2nd as Braxton Jones insurance and competition with Kiran Amegadje.

LB and Safety have sneakily become actual needs for this team. Wouldn’t be shocked if people freak out when we take one or two in this draft, possibly even with day 2 capital. Always need trench help, but there are some fun safeties in this class. Starks, Watts, Emmanwori, Winston, Mukuba.

Saw a couple interesting narrative comps for Hampton this year.
1. He’s Nabers to Jeanty’s MHJ, just in that the “generational” guy has legitimate competition as top prospect. 2. He’s Gibbs to Jeanty’s Bijan, in that Hamp will go *much* higher than people think, maybe even top 15. Are these fair?

And Xavier Watts. Perfect Kevin Byard successor as a comically productive ball hawk. 13 picks in 29 games is incredible.

Omarion Hampton. Narratively, he’s this year’s Malik Nabers to last year’s MHJ. The “generational” guy has legitimate competition. Jeanty is still 1, but Hampton is excellent in his own right, and it’s *possible* (not necessarily likely) he ends up a better pro.

The strongest case for still drafting an eventual replacement is that Dan Moore contract. Yeesh.

My tune has been changing. I’ve always been a Braxton defender, but he’s injured more frequently than I’d like, and his anchor is still deficient imo. If Kiran can actually develop into a playable tackle, we may be set on the line. Mixing that with a poor LT class has me looking at DLine or Jeanty 😈

Grady absolutely crushed it. Everyone did well, but wow, Grady was exceptional.

Which free agent moves do you think will have the biggest effect on the draft?

Do the Raiders pass on QB now (if one is there)? Are the Bears the spot for Jeanty? Will the Seahawks target a WR? Etc.
