Never used it myself, but as someone that still does the MP3 and Flac thing it's worth the slight effort to not have to be online or have ads in your music.
Spotify is now running ICE recruitment ads. We asked them to stop. They ignored us. Let's show them what we showed Disney. No Kings, No Collaborators, No Capitulators. indivisible.org/cancel-spotify

Sometimes python baffles me. Why half-ass this in the standard library, especially when you've adopted the format for project configuration? #python

These new clock styles for Android's lock screen are god awful and my old one is apparently gone. Can you just leave the thing I look at dozens of times during the day alone?

If the US Government is publicly using extortion, it doesn't take much effort to imagine what they're doing behind closed doors. ICE isn't arresting elected officials trying access detention facilities because the detainees' human rights are intact.

I'm very comfortable with Linux CLI. Trying to move over to desktop once again and still running into issues with multi-monitors out of the box (Fedora & Mint). Seems like a bad luck combo with my card and driver, but in 2025 why does this still require troubleshooting?

Get ready for "destruction of property is not protest" commentary. We're in a state of emergency and this channeling of our founders' belligerence is needed.

Corporations will use tariffs as an excuse for layoffs and price hikes, regardless if they actually take a hit to their bottom line. Buy only the essentials and buy second-hand if you can. It actually isn't your responsibility to buy things so people can stay employed. That is pure BS.

I wanted to get out to the coast since October, finally made it today. Cold, but I can breathe clearly.
