QT with your blue art. These are kinda random…I haven’t made any new art all year. One is an infographic from when I did spot illustrations for a book about cars

It’s always so magical to capture a metaphor in the wild. This one makes me think deep thoughts about my life. (Should I create an account for Wild-Caught Metaphors??)

I encountered a stray metaphor on my walk yesterday. Is anyone willing to give it a good home?

I saw this! So now I’m posting something yellow! Now you! (If you see this post something yellow)

Yeah, I know it’s a *little* more complicated than that, but…
After many years, my principal still has not gone down because the payments only keep interest from accruing. They are playing us all for suckers and it has to stop.

They’re just data. Nothing but numbers on a screen. Someone could press a few keys and ease a massive burden, and the only ones who would suffer are the predatory financial institutions who thrive on screwing over as many people as possible. And they would be bailed out by the government anyway.

I made this look kinda shitty on purpose and then screenshotted it for quality non-assurance, because it is only going on social media where either a) algorithms will prevent anyone from seeing it, or b) it’ll go viral and someone else will steal it and profit off it.

And a marine biology blog with my sea cucumber sketch —I like this one because I used crayolas with watercolor and the wax resist actually worked out pretty well despite it being trading-card size

Anyway, it’s neat when academics find my stuff. Here’s a science historian who reposted a sketch from an old blog I stopped using years ago

I have drawn Aethelflaed a couple times (I keep a sketchbook of interesting historical personages) but I definitely DID NOT draw her as a gnome or hobbit 🤣🤣🤣 I can only guess the author looked at more drawings than she could keep track of, and misattributed a couple

Googled myself again recently because my web host did something weird, and found something else funny: I am mentioned in this 2018 book of Ango-Saxon history

No advice needed—posting because it’s funny. This is from a few years ago when I was reworking my website and checking on some SEO issues. I was not practicing music at the time
