The caveat is that saving up to 4/5 free transfers requires sacrificing some short terms points (and some team value too) so you can’t really call that a benefit.

The 0.3-0.4 swing in team value could then lead to a 20-30 pts swing in the assistant manager chip. Who knows?
Good team value is highly underrated. Could be the difference between Trent vs Van Dijk which could be a 20 pt swing.
