Not to say I don’t care about American politics, I have friends there- but my feed felt so much… quieter? Relaxed? In those 12 hours

So that’s my 2 pence on this, it’s just for fun- and it was something I noticed and thought was interesting with the edits. There are other cards that could be used for Elphaba such as the High Priestess but I chose the Magician bc it’s specially about a magic wielder. Well done if you read all this

The World is 3 in Numerology can indicate a period of suspension before future success which can allude to Glinda’s life post Defying Gravity. There’s a period where she’s sort of existing, but eventually does confront the Wizard about his lack of magic and lies and forces him out of Oz (5/?)

The World (Reversed, also) can represent inertia, stagnation and can indicate the person is lacking courage and conviction which we see as Glinda chooses to remain instead of going with Elphaba. It also can indicate a chance to act, which she does in using the Grimmerie to stop Cherrystone. (4/?)

It’s a 1 in Numerology which can represent new beginnings and ‘acting to realise one’s desires’ which I think fits Elphaba quite well as she makes her choices in Defying Gravity, choosing to do the right thing as she has no desire to help the Wizard in his schemes. (3/?)

The Magician (Reversed) so there’s no card for Witch but magician does just as well, a magic user. In the reversed, it can represent disgrace, lies how the person may be involved in a situation where someone is shifting blame onto them. (2/?)
