Adding to the list of things that were made specifically for me. Ubisoft at the time knocked it out of the park with Black Flag. To date its the only game to do for pirate games what Red Dead Redemption did for westerns and it BAFFLES me that Ubisoft didn’t make more quality pirate games like this.

Here’s one of the games that really felt like it was made for me. I was not allowed to play any of the GTA games as a kid and I new I liked open world games so I had to get creative with my Christmas list. Thankfully Mercenaries exists and delivers everything I wanted and still look for in a game.

Classic RE4 is near and dear to my heart but the remake gave me an out of body experience with how much I loved it and the changes that improved what was already so great. The story is more concise, the characters are night and day from the original and the gameplay is so much more rewarding.

Next I’m picking my favorite game of all time. I genuinely love this game , flaws and all. Yes the missions get railroaded especially in later 3rd but this is my comfort game. I love hanging out in the world and spending time soaking the atmosphere and characters.

I’ll start with the game I’m replaying right now. I missed NV initially because I was finishing up school but got into it later after I was disappointed with 4 and enough people convinced me to go back to Obsidian’s masterpiece.
