I did a mix of Yukika's cover of Plastic Love, where I took the clip of her singing the song in a clip she uploaded to Instagram, and the audio was just the camera mic with the instrumental music heard at lower volume in the background, and then inserted it into the original version's instrumental and added effects to make it sound like a full studio mixed/mastered version. But since her clip didn't include the full song, I only had the clips she posted on her social media to work with. To solve that problem, I just kept the original vocals by Mariya for the missing parts, so it's like they traded off with each other in the song. There was no way to get the vocal effects to sound exactly like the original since they used old analog gear and I have no idea what they used, so I just used whatever I could in my arsenal to achieve a similar enough feel to not be too jarring. Also, Kika's clips were camera mic recording, so it's not going to have the same sonic characteristics as the very expensive tube mic that was probably used in the original recording in an expensive commercial studio.

This painting started in Rebelle 5 Pro, and finished in 6 Pro. At 1:22 there is a small jump because I had to export to Photoshop to use its Liquify tool (Rebelle 5 didn't have it yet, but got that feature in version 6), so it didn't get recorded.
