I would like Cocoa to have some darkness in her world, some salt, but also a different angle to explore that with would be better. Something like this just veers into ridiculousness, character assassination, and fetish-bait.

Or it's likely that Cocoa and Atole don't have the same mother and are neither half- nor full-siblings that got Parent Trapped at birth to hide an affair. More light could be shed on this if we ever saw Atole's mom, but it's not likely we'd ever look into Atole's home life that deeply.

Facing no opposition if not enthusiastic support from her mother, Cocoa thinks this 180 a bit odd. And as the Ninja and Pepparazzi can attest, she is a damn fine detective. So she started looking into it, and either found something or has a strong suspicion, and doesn't want to reveal a scandal.

She would cite the need to put school first, focus on her acting career, the danger of a scandal and even teen pregnancy that would ruin her life! This talk makes Cocoa think that her mom really wouldn't approve of her getting a girlfriend, but when she brings it up, those arguments? They evaporate.

As for why she would have this suspicion in the first place, I think she got a clue a bit after she learned of Peppa's feelings. She needed time to deal with it, and sure there is what she feels, but also what her parents have to say about it. Especially when it comes to her mom.

Right! So that part where Cocoa denies Gohan from doing a blood test, there may be a bit more to it. Like, she could have knowledge of her family's blood, or she is in the middle of her own investigation and Gohan is bringing a sledgehammer to a lockpicking and his indelicacy will alert her parents.

Thinking about it, that voice would grate eventually and be hard to convey on text. Best preserved and contained in that vid.

This is interesting to me because I believe it could have roleplaying potential. Say, if Gohan gets possessed by his sword, instead of the Malevolence that is Janemba, it could be Psych instead.
