“Don’t fight hate with hate” is an example of subtle gaslighting, where legitimate hurt and anger at the injustices suffered is equated to the bigotry and abuse of oppressors. Being angry doesn’t mean you are being hateful. It means you love yourself enough to get upset at your own mistreatment.

Idea: the 10 richest people in the world fight to the death annually & distribute all but the winner’s wealth evenly to the world. Maybe they will then competitively donate to the cause to avoid being one of the ten richest people.
Let the Glutton Games begin.
