realizing i do not have a lot of finished art that actually shows any size difference Whoops
there's almost a 2ft difference between Yohah & Ysayle & the majority of Lament's ships have at least a 1ft difference which may not seem like a lot but when trying to draw them it is (2ft in Zenos' case)

is the veil/bonnet historically accurate? probably no but also none of this is accurate & also in my opinion it makes him look older which is a plus (even if ostensibly he's supposed to be mid 30s)

ok movie over time to go to bed. need to figure out the veil & honestly idk what i'm doing with the dress. seeing him with non-fantasy skin & hair color is kinda weird even if it is basically supposed to just be moros' colors ha
continued work on designing a pseudo victorian-era dress for an au version of lament. there is a rough bust of him as a human rather than viera with his hair pulled back in a bun. he has dark circles under his eyes

Digital art of my viera Warrior of Light Lament and a mermaid version of Haurchefant Greystone. Lament is seated on a rocky outcropping a ways from the shore, damp and bedraggled as if having washed up from a shipwreck. Haurchefant is pulling himself up out of the water onto the rock, long tail curling around under the water. He is looking up at Lament in excitement, seemingly unaware of the somewhat awkward position he's in between the viera's legs. Lament meanwhile is flushed, staring down at the mermaid in shock, his shirt open and baring his chest.
