Tamers my goat! Really wish they’d give it some love like they’ve been doing with Adventure.

#16 Orb: On the Movements of the Earth. Catching up since I always forget to check Netflix. Definitely a sleeper hit from last year, I'm intrigued to see where this part of the story takes us. I can never help thinking that religion back then fucking sucks lol.

#15 I Left my A-Rank Part to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths! Another long ass titled anime. I'll admit, it was sorta fun watching someone overleveled carry a party through a dungeon. The weird technology and artifacts has me interested (They can stream their adventures lol).

#14 Solo Leveling E14. Wasn't going to do every episode, but for SL, maybe if it keeps this up. Animation was great as usual, but the plot is getting more interesting as well as the hint at internal conflict. This is what I wanted more of from S1.

#13 Blue Box E14. Didn't write one for E13 but the new cour is starting off strong. 14 was really excellent, felt like they packed so much in. There's a reason why Blue Box is the only other ongoing manga I read weekly besides One Piece.

#12 The Apothecary Diaries E25. Another one of my new favorites. So good, I'm excited to see where this season leads us. Hoping it's as good as the later halves of the first two cours.

#11 The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World. Reminds me of Campfire Cooking but more focused on CAPITALISM than the culinary arts. For some reason I like these over generic power fantasy isekai. Probably because most isekai don't do enough with the past world to warrant it.

#10 I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I'll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time. These names tho. Not sure how long this amusing set-up can last. I feel like this could have been more interesting, but the first episode didn't fill me with a lot of confidence.

#9. Even Given the Worthless "Appraiser" Class, I'm Actually the Strongest. Another one of these set-ups. Will give it another couple episodes to see what the story goes, but another strong drop potential here.

#8 I'm a Noble on the Brink of Ruin, So I Might as Well Try Mastering Magic. I really can't stand these dumb light novel titles. This one definitely feels like a speed watch, if only to see the progression of magical powers. But probably more likely to drop this at 3 episodes.

Here are all 6 segments, if you're interested.

(And Super Gamers spend, on average, $153 on video game products every six months, since I'm seeing some online convo on that).

#7 Red Cliff. Got to watch it on my friend's 4k projector and new speaker system. Massive war epic about the battle of Chibi. I remember watching part 1 ages ago, but never saw the 2nd. It hit the beats I wanted it to as a Musou fan, and the cast were all good to great. Solid 8/10.

#6 Solo Leveling S2E13. Interested to see where this season takes us. I was simultaneously entertained but unimpressed with the first season given all the hype around it. A well done power fantasy, but nothing all that special outside of the animation, imo. Hoping for some more depth from the MC.

#5 Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time episode 1. Another isekai, this one feels like it'll be the best one this season. Interesting progression, seeds of intrigue are planted, another evil holy kingdom being hinted at.

Probably won't continue to post each and every episode for anime series, maybe at the halfway point and at the end of the season, or if I decided to drop it. And maybe any standout episodes.

#4 Headhunted to Another World: From Salaryman to Big Four! episode 1. This one's fun as a working adult. Normal dude uses his good work ethic/skills to support the demon king. Doubt it'll surpass Ossan Adventurer from a couple seasons ago, but it fills that niche.

#3 Bogus Skill <<Fruitmaster>> episode 1, a dumb isekai, this time involving skill fruits that you normally can only eat one of. (Sounds like Devil Fruits) I'm curious to see if there's any unique or clever powers. Otherwise it's a junkfood watch at 1.5x speed if it gets past 3 episodes.

#2 Talented, a cool game with several characters to play as, but the hook is a massive, randomly generated skill tree that you fill out at the end of each of the 20 nights to clear a run. Enemies came at you from all 4 cardinal directions. Simple in concept, but another excellent execution. 8.5/10

#1 Shangri-La Frontier, or SLF for short, S2E37. No screencaps cause this is several days later, but this series is one of my new favorites. Just a well-executed power fantasy within a game setting. This episode continues with the big fight that's going on and it's sick. Animation great as always.
