It really feels like people are stereotyping Arle by saying she has a preference for masc clothing just because she's been said to dislike dresses. Plenty of feminine women don't wear dresses and even suits aren't inherently masc since they have long been worn by feminine women

To be fair though, Arle was only said to dislike dresses, not feminine clothing in general. One can still be feminine while disliking dresses. Not even wearing a suit makes her masculine since pantsuits have been worn by feminine women for the longest time.

I've always thought that there were Khaenri'ahns who were able to escape or were simply out of the nation when Celestia cast their immortality curse (ASSUMING the curse was cast specifically on the people in the kingdom rather than it targeting every Khaenri'ahn alive) and had descendants and died.
