The first permanent bases on the moon and mars won't be 3d printed. They will be built with the same methods that allowed us to build the Empire State building, the Panama Canal or the Hoover Dam.

With regards to global construction, who right now is currently building commercially profitable projects at scale with 3d printing, rover based technologies or automation?
The answer is no one - and this should guide capital and strategy in the terrestrial construction space.

Our lunar shotcrete mix is based off of a non aqueous dispersion of polymers mixed with regolith and then directed through a nozzle onto excavated regolith faces at a nominal thickness of 4" in order to achieve self supporting and retaining internal structural walls for our habitats and workspaces.
