so tonight's exercise was "on-model vs my style" studies of the lads
two portraits of felix done in digital pencil. the one on the left is as close to his canon design and style as i can manage, and the one on the right is in my own style, much gaunter, pointier, and with more scars than canon. two digital pencil portraits of sylvain. the one on the left is, again, as close to on-model as possible (i didn't do a good job on his hair but oops) and the other is with my style and headcanons — he's much curlier, has a stronger nose and chin, a broader mouth, heavy bags under his eyes, and a stubbly beard and mustache. two digital pencil portraits of dimitri. the left one is as close to looking like his canon portrait as i can make it. the one on the right is in my style, and he's far more gaunt and bony, more scarred, sadder-looking, and his hair is lanker.

bought art supplies (digital brushes) and am now going ham (hyrule map again) (this is gerudo canyon) (those are just placeholder mountains i'll fix them soon)
an unfinished map of gerudo canyon from breath of the wild/tears of the kingdom, made to look like traditional art but it's digital art. it's all deep and winding in on itself. there are mountains on either side of the canyon, and the edge of the great plateau is visible to the right.

so has anyone else noticed that save rock and roll is at least 80% griddlehark songs by volume
