From my experience with the jp release, 1 box will get you about 1 copy of each common, and a lot of the uncommons. You'll need at least 3 to 4 boxes, but you can build several decks, or you can buy singles. More starter decks will come with sets 2 and 3, but they're not as good as the SorAz deck
