I saw a final boss video and the thumbnail had *what I assume* to be the cutscene directly after defeating the boss? (the equivalent of the final button presses in hollow knight true ending, for example)

The opportunity to safely attack an enemy is a lot less easy to identify.
Contact damage is the worst its ever been with how mobile these new enemies can be compared to rigid button presses...
