87. Tally Hall's Internet Show (2008) 📺

It kind of deteriorates the longer it goes on LOL, but it's a fun, quick watch. Would have loved to see them do more with it

86. Tales of Rebirth (2004) 🎮

My first Tales game! First off, this is one of the best fan translations I've ever played. Huge props to Life Bottle Productions for such brilliant work.

As for the game, I enjoyed it! Have too much thoughts to fit in the character limit, but it's a solid RPG.

85. Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum (2005) 🎵

After years of silently judging people for being fans of Tally Hall (and getting sick to death of ‘Ruler of Everything’ after that really forced meme some years ago) I listened to their debut album and… I really liked it! Late to the party as always

84. Kitaro Meets Nurarihyon (Mizuki, Davisson)

Read this over the course of several months (I gotta get a better reading schedule). Really enjoyed it! Mizuki’s art is as awe-inspiring as I’m used to, and the myriad of yōkai featured are as fascinating as ever. I really like Odoro-Odoro, especially.

83. Back to the Future (1985) 🎥🔁

Still one of my favorites. Despite only having seen it 2 or 3 times previously, I was shocked I had so much of it memorized lol.

Also, seeing it in theaters was super cool! I’m glad I got the opportunity to do so, and I’d like to see the sequels that way, too.

82. My Hero (1985) 🎮

Terrible game. Only played it because I was bored scrolling through my Mega Everdrive and thought the name was funny.

The opening cutscene is a perfect encapsulation of what playing this game feels like.

81. Pikmin (2001) 🎮 🔁

This game is soo dope. Third playthrough I've done of this game. Played it in a race and got second-to-last 💔

I appreciate the map design the more I replay it, and I like how each type gets a chance to shine. Has some fun bosses (Not The Last One), too.

80. Yōkai Monsters: Spook Warfare (1968) 🎥

Daamn the remaster by @arrowvideo.bsky.social is brilliant!! I watched the first one online from some old rip before I got my hands on their release, and this was such a massive step up. Really helps these movies, especially with how cool the costumes are.

79. Death Come True (2020) 🎮

Kodaka’s third, lesser known directorial role. He marketed this as a unique mix of game and movie, but I’m convinced Kodaka just isn’t familiar with FMV games. The choices are limited and hardly matter. (1/4)

78. Sailor Moon R (1993–1994) 📺 DROPPED

Watched the first 18 episodes before deciding to drop the series. Everything being reset after Season 1 makes this such a slog to watch. The plot advances at a snail’s pace, and the characters have hardly grown since Season 1. Disappointing

77. One Battle After Another (2025) 🎥

This movie hits like a freight train. One of the best thrillers I’ve watched in recent memory, with extremely impactful political commentary. If this is anything to go by, I really ought to check out Paul Thomas Anderson’s other films.

76. Inazuma Eleven The Movie 2025 (2025) 📺

How do you have HALF of a movie be filler 💔 It’s not even a good recap… most of the important parts are glossed over or simply skipped

The second half sold me on the story for Victory Road. I love Unmei

75. Inazuma Eleven Season 1 (2008–2009) 📺

This ruled, another Level-5 W

The characters are surprisingly well developed which I wasn’t expecting from a sports anime. Endou is a fantastic protagonist, and I really like Kidou and Domon as well. It’s very over the top in a way I jive with lol

74. Henry V (Shakespeare) 📖

Has some stand-out moments, but one of the less interesting works from Shakespeare in my humble opinion

73. Brian Wilson (1988) 🎵

This album is absolutely fantastic, it’s really cool seeing Brian do such fresh things so long after the golden era of the Beach Boys (RIP GOAT)

72. Super Flight (1979) 🎵

I don’t like it as much as their first album but it’s still a good listen

70. Sir Gawain and the Green Knight (c. 14th century)

Guess whose in a British Literature class

Read it on a website that was assigned to the class and the language used is quite archaic and I would have preferred an easier to understand translation, but I still quite enjoyed it

69. Jaws (1975) 🎥

Watched this for the first time in a drive-in theatre, was pretty sick

I liked the movie :) it didn't knock my socks off or anything, but it's a good film. The most noteworthy parts of it are the incredible score and how well it crafts tension.

68. Mizuki Shigeru - Manben (2024) 🎥

My first episode of Manben, and it left a strong impression. Listening to experienced artists tell their stories and share admiration for Mizuki's work is so heartwarming. You can watch it online for free until September 15th! www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/en/...
