I’m glad that all the replies I’m seeing are “yea no that’s actually a pretty bad idea” anyway for those particularly concerned if you know someone you can get Costco items on instacart. If your everyday essentials are available at dollar tree you can shop there. WinCo is great for bulk consumables.

And I agree with society worsening & creating issues but autism does come with its own issues depending on the person that’s undeniable. I think of my cousin and a family friend they’re both 25+ but cannot safely do basic necessary tasks solo and that will seemingly always be a struggle for them.

I’m glad someone understood what I was getting at. Your kids autistic or otherwise are probably gonna have a great life because acknowledging the differences in what people struggle with makes it so much easier to accommodate them. 🫶🏾🫶🏾

Yk you’re absolutely right we should all hope to be autistic there is absolutely nothing negative that comes with autism and I was a disgusting fool to imply otherwise it’s the absolute best form of humanity and the rest of us should die out.

At this point I have to assume it’s a comprehension issue. No one said the human race would be better without autism. I know autistic people read my posts because my friends do. If you’re going to make any stretch most not all autistic peoples lives would be easier not better without autism.

I did not say that?? Something being a hardship does not make it exclusively negative. Owning a dog is a hardship dogs are wonderful pets to have. Assuming I don’t know/am close with/ and interact with autistic people regularly is just odd.

Do you tell people to celebrate their kids schizophrenia? I see your point but you’re willfully ignoring mine. It’s not like gender, race or religion and it’s not just some quirky trait. Even without the hardships of an ableist society it makes life harder why would someone choose that willingly.

To be fair it’s a disability like any other. People who have them shouldn’t be treated worse for it but it’s not something to try to have either. It makes peoples lives harder in many ways and no good parent wants hardship for their kids.

My dog has become overprotective and gets riled up if another dog so much as walks in my direction 🥹 we don’t go to parks much these days.

Because you seem to miss the point in favor of ignorance or bigotry (idk idc) when the labor force is not being paid there are no labor costs associated with the goods and services they provide and thus no taxes needed to pay for those things. And yet we still can’t seem to be great at anything.

Very simple. We are not by any metric. For the first 130 years of this country’s history it was actively enslaving both its own and native populations.

Most libraries you can check out a private room to maintain distance from others as you read/work and you should have zero issue wearing any amount of PPE you deem appropriate. Going during the least busy hours will also help. :)

It’s unfortunate because I don’t like paying income tax either but think it a necessary part of the existing system.
Taxes and spending SHOULD be correlated they aren’t because many of the people in charge are greedy fools. What you’re suggesting is what Nigerias trash leaders do currently.

Look up your local laws (or the ones for where you lived at the time) I’m not in a state/district that does that my DL gets scanned anytime I vote.

Some states allow permanent residents and other legal immigrants to vote in local elections which is likely your case cause for most states voter registration you need your social security/passport/DL or other id number.
