The Bazaar is amazing give it a shot if you love card games/hero builders/roguelikes. don't give them money until they wise up tho

speaking from my own experience. i really want to give my money to the devs and sub but i don't want to support bad business practices. please at least pretend to not be a money-grabbing rugpuller so i can feel like i'm putting my money the right place

that's going to happen less if you make a system the midcore player is unhappy with!! the hardcore and softcore players might not mind the model but do you not want to find as much customers as possible. don't ignore the midcore players!

-so whales can pay for the progress to the new stuff day 1 with their shiny new toys. that's acceptable. happens even in irl card games. i get that live-service games have to have monetization but at least you have to trick people (sorry. it's true) into thinking giving you money is justified

paying to get something earlier than other is something that i'm also a bit iffy with but i'm willing to look the other way because unfortunately services need maintenance fees. i get it. every card games do it i'm familiar. just put the new content on the free track and put them further up-

the Premium Pass though. why are new content time-gated if you don't pay up. it literally does not matter if the new content is well-balanced. i shouldn't have to pay to have the same gameplay experience as everyone else. I REALLY hope this is a fucked-up Open Beta thing that they change on Release

i did not expect a subscription model in a f2p game but it might actually be the healthiest part about it. getting the player to play more to get value but also not having to play as much for the same rewards. essentially what Limbus Company do with their Pass too

i am kinda a mid player that's learning so. if i do put out my opinions you may take it w/ a grain of salt. tl;dr: as fun as the core gameplay is, the monetization is kinda weird? i don't mind copying models from other games but can we copy good ones at least
