I have a couple of larger gaiwans I bought from a seller local to me, along with a lightweight plain white set that DID come from Taobao. The cups are small, wide mouthed so the tea cools down quickly: and they're cheap so I won't cry if one breaks. Pic here is similar in looks to the one I bought.
Set of porcelain gaiwan (Chinese covered tea bowl) and small tea cups for gongfu cha. The set is white coloured with light pink floral patterns around the rim. The body of the gaiwan and teacups are chased with hollowed hexagonal patterns in the style of a honeycomb and covered in translucent glaze. The set is advertised with a free gift of a pair of bamboo tongs to handle the wet items (as teaware is traditionally rinsed with boiling hot water before use).
