I made this Pride flag using only NASA images and our team thought it would be cool to share on social (I work on the NASA heliophysics communications team), but it's getting all sorts of hate on the bird app and Fbook. Thought y'all might be more appreciative of it here. ☺️🏳️‍🌈💖

A handcrafted sculpture depicting the octopus species Caribbean Reef Octopus which is scientifically known as Octopus Briareus. She is hand sculpted from polymer clay, painted with acrylics and pigments and double coated in resin. The Octopus sits in an abalone shell and holds a creamy white pearl and some tiny Swarovski crystals. In the photo the sculpture is held up by the artist's left hand over a dark background and lit with a warm studio lamp from the left and a neutral studio lamp from the right side.
