historically, and upsettingly, most of the primary sources that survive are those produced by or for the state. they tend to understand the importance of record-keeping, even at their worst. for historians researching what really happened in 2020s USA, this could be foundational knowledge.

Outside of the fact that folks clearly find important belief and meaning in therianthropy and that in itself should be something just considered Good for the world, the amount of sheer Whimsy and Wonder from it all is like... idk maybe my brain is broken but it makes me embrace it all so much more

i sympathize w the last bit, but someone posting screenshots out-of-context of what was v clearly a nervous break that they no longer agree with is super uncool. as a mentally ill person myself, i don't like the idea that its ok to throw someone's pain back in their face while they're moving past it

idk maybe this is a shitty take but. taking old screenshots out of context on a completely different post when someone is clearly in better judgement now makes it honestly unsafe to be mentally unwell in online spaces. its giving "repent for your sins or you'll forever be stained by them"
