So I'm back, just taking things slow. Thanks for reading and being apart of Tokito's story~

I wish the time we had with him was longer, but we made every day count with him. Thank you all once again. The donations helped us give Tokito what he needed to have a comfortable end of life and the emotional support helped River and I process through the grief.

The love and support you all gave to him made it possible to give him the short time we were able to. Tokito crossed the rainbow bridge with a full belly, a warm and comfortable spot, a clean environment, and more love that he's ever received previously in life.

Thank you all so much for your kind words. Even though I haven't been able to reply to them, I have read each and every message I received and it's all be so wonderful that so many people loved this little stray that didn't have anything in the world beforehand.

Also, I wanted to give thanks for the overwhelming support we've had during this time. I'd had a bad past few days and Tokito's passing was the straw. It's been incredibly difficult, but I'm starting to pick up the pieces.

Today, we both feel well enough to be back online, but we're taking it slow. I plan to return back to commission work tomorrow best I can.

I am most likely not going to be able to respond to anything right away as we take time for ourself during this. Once again, thank you all for loving Tokito just as much as we did. It means the world to us, and it meant the world to him.

Thank you so much to everyone who made taking care of him possible. It really looked like he was out of the woods, but it was just his time to go.

We don't know what happened, but we think it may have been a stroke. With it being late , a holiday with no places open, and no way to get him to an emergency vet, we held him in our arms until the end. We're taking him to the vet first thing in the morning to get his remains properly handled.
