Those are great ideas in paper. I think to make any lasting changes our lifestyles need to be worsened, less and more expensive products and services, less fun. Not many will want that. Also why did Elon, Trump and the hate for billionaires enter this discussion.

The take is quite negative, why can't we have both? Also, while 10 billion is a lot of money, it's probably less than 10% of the budget required to clean the ocean. Even then, people need to stop polluting the ocean after its cleaned, that change is hard to just buy with money.

Can I ask why people do this follow for a follow thing? What's the benefit.

I wonder if it would be possible to do a data removal request, assuming you live inside EU. Like not the whole account, but your posts. I don't know if privacy laws allow us to have such control.

Aren't many frameworks now focused on delivering as little JS to the end user as possible? Server-side rendering and such. That's the best of both worlds!
I do find it a bit concerning how much some rely on libraries. It introduces security vulnerabilities due to not fully understanding your code.

It's one of the first languages I properly learned and has a rent free luxurious palace in my heart. I'm still ignorant as I haven't really used anything else than JavaScript, C# and Python, but... surely nothing will steal my love for it.

I just love being able to mess with websites in general, like we can control their whole behaviour to our liking! Don't like that element? Remove. Want some feature? Append.

Oman kokemuksen perusteella toisten kertomat jutut on aina vähä hurjemmat mitä ne on todellisuudessa, riippuu omasta asenteesta. Kannattaa ihmeessä mennä diagnoosiin jos on yhtään tarve.
