The colors of Hio and Oliver's clothes also have meaning. Hio represents warmth in the soul; he has warm, homely colors because the glow(yeah) belongs to him. Oliver has cold colors because he has lost his own glow(this is not a spoiler! it's literally the beginning of the plot, the first lines)

Prima has the most colors, all of which are bright, yet dark and cold, rough, and dramatic! Clara and Bruno have the most detailed costumes, yet they are very childlike, with warm colors! LUMi has the fewest details and colors, all of which are light, cold, and very ghostly!
