This took a while to get done, but I've chronicled my day among the protesters in Los Angeles, and the idea that this is anything but a celebration of cultural heritage and a firm, nonviolent demand to protect family, friends and neighbors is totally ridiculous.

Vinted (indeed, clothing trends more generally) is so weird, man. Like, this blatant copy of a Carhartt jacket is highly desirable and will go for anything from £80-150. Levi’s, Wrangler? £20, m8. Even stuff from the 70s/80s.

I suspect Trump *wants* to trash the global economy. He plans to go back to that era where the USA loaned money to other countries and profited off them for decades. Seems a bit of a gamble, tbh.

Bingeing #mafsaus. It’s great trash telly but you do hit a point when watching the ‘experts’ scratch their heads week on week about an awful couple becomes annoying. Like, would it kill 1 of them to say; ‘You two are clearly here to promote your individual brands, no other reason.’

Finally watched A Complete Unknown. Great performances from Chalamet, Norton and Elle Fanning. One thing though. As legendary as that ‘Judas’ story is.. not sure how well that translated to the climax of a movie.

Watching ep 1 of #mafsaus and there’s basically a TradWife on it. They’re making a big deal of her catalogue-model husband being a perfect match but he’s omitted 1 glaring word/requirement from his ‘dealbreaker’ list- that word is ‘young’. Just wait.

Saw a screening of a few of David Lynch’s short films. I miss seeing art made viscerally, cheaply, and for a small messy audience. It actually makes the world feel bigger and more interesting. Mass appeal shrinks it all down.
