Today we should be celebrating Dr. MLK Jr and the next president and vice president of the United States but it feels more like a funeral to me. 😢 A dark day in our country’s history.

My baby is almost 8 wks old, that means maternity leave will be over in 4 wks. I don’t wanna go back to work. Wish we could adopt the parental leave of Sweden or similar country. I hate missing out on another one of my child’s first year of life again. 😭😭 I am grateful for the 12 I do get.

Motherhood is hard. Starting over again at 40 is harder. My body isn’t as resilient. Oh my knees and back. Tell me I’m not the only one.
