Today me and my fiancé had agreed to buy a new kitchen sink and fix a couple things around the house but had no time to play Bob the Builder together, so I took it upon myself to reinstall my wardrobe rack and install the new kitchen bin! Electric screwdriver saved the day! Feeling accomplished 🤩

Yesterday I received a call from work, I’m getting enlisted back on my latest vessel on Monday 🙃 at least we’ll be in my home port for both Christmas and New Years, so it makes the bitter pill easier to swallow 😅

Today’s bus driver is NOT having any of it LOL this guy has honked at bad parking jobs at least 3 times within the past 5’ and I applaud this kind of attitude!

My weekend’s been fun so far, I’ve got a cold and had a meltdown over Christmas decorations, fiancé is also agitated because we ended up spending our time together trying to get some of his important paperwork done and failed at it so we’re both a hot mess right now. Cool.

Living alone for the most part is daunting. Might have all the fancy alarms and cameras in the world, still doesn’t compare to having a familiar person in the house.

Fiancé been trying to set up the thermostat app for days, if not weeks… well, yesterday he challenged me to take charge and I asked for a big gift if I managed to settle the matter, guess who’s had the app installed and running before he had to return to work! I deserve all the gifts 😜

Thank goodness that I thought of calling to make a reservation for that famous seafood restaurant at the island we’re hopping on this weekend! There’s a big religious celebrations I hadn’t accounted for when I proposed the getaway, so everything’s gonna be full to the brim!
