Digital is much cheaper for third party devs, especially on the NSW2, so if they're playing it safe they release it digitally to test the waters, and if it's a hit the physical gets announced lmao

I've saved so much paper during uni classes by just browsing the pdfs on my phone, instead of printing anything to take with me or even carrying a laptop.
some of our classes were even recorded by other students, with the professor's permission, just so they could study it later.
