I trim these bottles so that there are spiral ridges in the neck that help secure the pouring spigot. The bits fall into the bottles and can stick to the bottom. I use a little bit of scotch bright pad on the end of a stick to knock them loose and dump them out.

Bluesky, I give you our backyard squirrel, Maisie. She lives entirely free outside after we helped her recover from dog trauma as a baby(see her tail). She has a whole highlight reel on my IG but I will be sure to share her here too.
