My next read and my first Alastair Reynolds book (Yeah, I know, shut up). This has been recommended on three of my favourite Scifi booktube channels, so I have confident hope I will enjoy this. Looking forward to some big scifi concepts and mind-boggling scope.

My first foray into the Forgotten Realms books and beginning with The Legend of Drizzt series, Homeland by R A Salvatore. Halfway through and I am having a ball. Drizzt is such a cool character. Great world building and some fantastic supporting cast.

50% through Dead Beat and this is easily the best Dresden book so far. Its, so frickin good, absolutely bonkers and unputdownable.

I highly recommend A Palace Near The Wind by @aijiang.bsky.social Its a beautiful high fantasy story with gorgeous prose. It's 184 pages.

Look, Amazon's Wheel of Time has it's avid haters. I can understand that. S1 & S2 have had, let's be honest, huge problems.
But S3 is a revelation. It's like the writers are finally allowed to embrace the weirdness of the books & adapting the story brilliantly.
2x4 is inspired.
