Be realistic about what you can actually afford. Start there, and don't worry about it not being perfect.

It's all about starting somewhere! Every big goal has a starting point.

Making it your own is part of the fun! You can always remodel and upgrade later.

Equity can help down the road. Owning a home for a while can build equity, which helps when you want to move to a bigger place.

Do you really need all the fancy stuff right away?

Does it need to be super huge or have a gourmet kitchen?

Do you really need a 3-bedroom, 4-bedroom, or mansion right out of the gate?

Housing costs are up since I launched Level Up in 2017, but that doesn't mean it's automatically out of reach for you.

Maybe you need to adjust your expectations. That first house doesn't need to have everything you want. 🤯
