I went out pretty much every day, sometimes longer than an hour (the length of a lesson) and it really helped to solidify things.
Not sure if that’s an option but it was really really helpful for me.

The key that helped me get more confident (and competent) was driving more frequently. Lesson we’re (are) expensive so I was lucky enough to get learner insurance and drive a car with my father in law in the passenger side.
