Looking forward to going to NoMoWriMo on Friday! Their first show was great! There was theatre, horror/fantasy, high-quality fan-fic smut, and Bobbi Twiggs as the brilliant host, bringing the energy of a chaotic, middle school English teacher whose extra credit assignment is public humiliation.

I don't do a call-to-action about tipping at my shows, because I don't want to make anyone feel like they have to tip to sing. That said, I really want to buy and play South of Midnight, so if you know generous tippers who love karaoke at cute, divey gay bars, send them to Felix's tonight for me!

NoMoWriMo's first show was fantastic! If you weren't there tonight, and you like quality live lit shows, you missed out and need to put the next one on your calendar as soon as it's announced.

Looking for suggestions: I'd love to host karaoke at a coffee shop, tea shop, or juice bar in the Metro Atlanta area to give singers who aren't comfortable around alcohol or smoke another option. Do any of you know one that might be a good fit?
