Perpetually reading The Wheel of Time and living in quiet horror through the Post Dynasty Era of the Pats.
rbsdm displays the different outcomes.

Was there even a strong recommendation from the analytical models? rbsdm has it as a FG (medium).

Their Cap situation is also bad. Need to restructure large deals just to cover in season expenditures and sign their draft class. Palmer and Hoecht have not been productive. Samuel is an obvious cut, maybe Taron Johnson (depends on the DC). They are much closer to late stage Saints than I thought.

Legit the first thing I thought when I saw the play. Gonzalez did it on another play as well but the RB was ruled down.

Probably good idea to source the EPA numbers here because the different providers might chart man/zone differently. NGS, Trumedia and FTN could have very different splits.

Do you have any numbers on the Pats O with 6 OL? The packages with Munford have become a significant part of the Pats Offense.

Was just skimming through OTC to see where the league in general is at for the upcoming offseason. Most teams have plenty of cap flexibility, they must be swimming in cash right now. FA class is going to be underwhelming because teams will resign any decent player.

Got it.

Fascinating that the Rams are so high. Some other Metrics (like Kevin Coles Adjusted Scores) have it much closer.

I love how we spend so much time creating these elaborate, beautiful storylines about the football games and then the games are regularly decided by random bullshit.

hey, it is the inverse Patriots

A lot of the metrics for the pats point to them being a lot more real than a lot of people would like to believe.

Not saying they are world beaters, but they are a solid playoff team that can realistically make a deep run if a couple of things break their way.

Fair enough. The different EPA providers have different formulas ,so I thought NextGen Stats used their tracking data somehow. Maye is #1 in all EPA totals I have seen for this season ,but the actual number varies a lot.

rbdsm - 205
Sumer - 170
NextGen - 150
ESPN QBR - 114

Barnwell used Next Gen Stats EPA, the math probably differs significantly with rbsdm, since they use tracking data.

Gotta source EPA stats since there are multiple sources with differing formulas.

Pretty wild how far apart the public discourse and the reality on the field are. Most of the time, when people talk about a HC being "aggressive", he is just following the baseline set by a model with minor adjustments.

This is not going to end well.

The Regression to the Darnold has been a problem for the offense.
